Weariness in ministry is not new to the Church. The writer of Hebrews admonishes God’s people to “Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. (12:3). Paul encourages the believers in Galatia to “not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” These passages acknowledge the challenge of living and ministering in a sinful and suffering world. Panelists will explore why there has been a trend in leaders leaving their ministries. And they will discuss successful antidotes to help people address these challenges in healthy ways, leading to longevity in ministry.
